ASH WEDNESDAY

As we begin the season of Lent, we will join with our brothers and sisters in Christ at First Methodist Church for a combined Ash Wednesday service on Wednesday, February 18, at 6:00 p.m. Pastor Loren will be the speaker.

FATHER & SON BANQUET

Our annual Father & Son Banquet is on Saturday, February 28, at 5 p.m. at Brookville EMC.  Meal choice is Mushroom Swiss Steak or Boneless Chicken Breast and includes mashed potatoes with gravy, green beans, applesauce, rolls, dessert, & drink.  A free-will offering will be collected to help offset the dinner costs.  Invite the special men in your life to join you for this evening of fellowship!  A sign-up sheet is on the counter by the office.  Make sure to mark your dinner choice.  The reservation deadline is February 22.

PIES & HELPERS NEEDED

The ladies from Families for Missions will be providing the meal for the Father & Son Banquet.  We need pies for dessert and also volunteers to help on the day of the dinner.  Sign-up sheets are on the counter by the office if you can help with one or both needs and mark your choice of dinner.  Volunteers helping in the kitchen and with set up should be at the church at 9:30 a.m.  If helping to serve, please be here at 4:30 p.m.

CHERRY RUN WORK DAYS

Anyone interested in helping at the Cherry Run workdays is welcome to come.  Sign-up sheets are on the counter by the office.  Any questions, see Pastor Loren.   

“WALK THRU THE BIBLE” EVENT

Mark your calendars now!  On Saturday, March 21, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., our church will host a live event called “Walk Thru the Bible.”  Anyone in 3^rd grade and up would benefit from attending.  Sign-ups will be available soon.  Cost is $20/person. 

FOOD PANTRY COLLECTION
    Laundry Detergent

The food pantry is collecting certain non-food items to distribute to those in need. Donated items may be placed in the box at the back of the sanctuary.

SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASSES

Sunday School classes for all ages are now being held. This includes our nursery class on the children’s floor. Hope to see you at Sunday School!

We are glad you are here to worship with us today. Welcome packets are available on the table at the back of the sanctuary if you would like more info about our church.

LIVESTREAMING

Both Sunday morning services are livestreamed each week on our church Facebook page at “Brookville Evangelical.” Special services & programs are also available this way. This is a great opportunity for those who can’t be with us in person to be a part of our worship.        

Nursery

The nursery will be opened and staffed during the worship service for children in preschool and younger.  The nursery is located on the children's floor (upstairs) in the second room on the right.  All you need to do is drop off your children before the worship service begins and then pick them up after the service.  We are happy to help serve you and your infant or toddler in this way!
